This is 'Rhocera's Garden'.
Here I practiced perspective and show the room from different angles to get a better feel of the space. I also stuck to a limited colour palette for these. This helps me as a reference when drawing panels.
Below are some colour studies based on photos taken around London. (starting from most recent) The comic is meant to be heavily influenced by London architecture and this helped me understand colour schemes and design choices. Additionally, as I am primarily a character artist, this was a challenge to tackle to more detailed aspects of environmental art. My aim is to complete one study a month to improve my confidence in this area.
